Not far from the beachif you have a bike or car. We had bad weather so left earlier then planned. But they places itself are big and quiet. The restaurant has only open in the afternoon what is not so great. Showers need to be payed extra, what i think is a little over exaggerated.
Cool and very clean parc.Nice playground and sprayparc. Also has an animation team for the kids.Well placed.5min by bicycle to the beach.supermarkets at 5min by bike. The bungalows are really nice and clean.
We stayed for one night, but it wouldn't be my first choice the next time we camp in Zeeland again. We encountered various issues during our short stay.
1. The phone number for the site was offline for the entire day before we arrived, and on the day we arrived which made it impossible to contact the site to ask questions or make requests. When we arrived, the reception lady wasn't even aware that the phone line wasn't working.
2. The number plate recognition system doesn't work very well. On arrival with my 9m caravan, I was asked to reverse so that the car in front of me could reverse so that their number plate could be read. There was also a car behind me. It was quite hectic, and the reception lady was rude telling me "You're blocking everybody in" as if it was somehow my fault. Upon leaving, the system failed again, and I asked the reception lady to open the gate, and she was rude again as if it were my fault.
3. There are additional costs for hot water in the showers which is not mentioned anywhere on the website (not that I can find). This what the SEP-Key is for. As we only receive one for €25, only one person can have a shower at a time. Not convenient when there are 6 of us, unless of course we pay an additional €25 for each additional person to shower at the same time. Other sites provide hot water inclusive, so this was a surprise, especially as it's not mentioned upfront.
4. Reception opens from 09:30 which is quite late, and meant we had to wait around just to get our €25 SEP-Key deposit back. As a result, we were late for our next destination.
All in all, we paid approximately €80 for one night's stay, and we felt it wasn't worth it due to all the problems we encountered.
In September last year, my wife and I went to this campsite for two weeks. The campsite is located in a quiet rural location with a beach 1 km away. A few minutes from Kudekerke (2 km) and Vlissingen (7 km). The campsite has a small shop …
